Redfall takes players to the small town of Redfall, Massachusetts. After a scientific experiment failed, an army of vampires came to invade this town. With their powers, the vampires were able to block the sun, turned the sky dark and plunged the town into darkness. They have also isolated Redfall from the rest of the country, leaving its residents without help from the rest of the country having only its citizens to stand up against the evil legion.
In this FPS open-world game players will have four different characters to choose from. People can pick to play as Devinder the cryptozoologist and inventory, Layla the biomedic student, Remi a combat engineer, and Jacob Boyer, a former sharpshooter now private contractor. Depending on which character you play, there will be different abilities available to use. Players will also have to create builds and be ready to fight off enemies. Combat can be approached with different strategies. The trailer exhibits fast machine guns paired with telekinesis-powered gadgets that are used for a fast offensive strike while there are also slow but high-powered weapons for additional support. Redfall has online co-op so people are able to fight off vampires alone or engage in combat as a team.
Redfall will available for pre-order and will be released on May 2, 2023, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
