The latest trailer for Bandai Namco’s new 2D fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ has just received a new trailer that has seemed to excite a lot of fans. The publisher has now announced a total of 24 characters for the game. The most recent ones to be revealed have all been from the Dragon Ball Super series including Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Lord Beerus, Hit, and Goku Black.
This trailer focuses on Super Saiyan blue Goku, one of the series newest transformations. The trailer shows off some of Goku’s moveset which is pretty similar to his base form with the added ability to boost his power through the signature Kaio-ken. This character can be unlocked by preordering the game. There is also a season pass being offered that will add six additional characters that will be coming sometime after the game’s launch.
Bandai Namco is also holding a open beta for the game next month from January 14 up until the 16. However, they haven’t yet revealed which characters or game modes will be available during the beta period.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will officially launch for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on early next year on January 26, just a little over a week after the beta ends. So fans won’t have to wait to much longer after they’ve gotten a taste of the anticipated fighting game. Those who preorder the game will not only get Super Saiyan Blue Goku, but also will have early access to Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta as well.
