New Details on Borderlands 3 Revenge of The Cartels Event and Mayhem 2.0 Mode Updates

Borderlands 3 is known for having fans going through new worlds to seek for some ultimate treasure hunting and fueled up adventures. Gearbox has now released new updates and events that set to come out on April 23rd. Now fans get a chance to see Borderlands 3 in a whole new space and get to be way more interactive.

With their first new installment update, Borderlands 3 added their guide to the Mayhem Mode 2.0 recently this week. Gearbox states on the website, “Mayhem Mode unlocks after you complete Borderlands 3’s main story and gives you the option to dial up the difficulty, increasing experience points, as well as the quality of loot dropped from enemies”. They start to go into detail about the Mayhem Mode and their quality of life improvements which include Mayhem Mode activation and adjustment via ECHO Device and their all-new modifiers. With the Mayhem Mode activation and adjustment via ECHO Device, players will no longer need to go through Sanctuary III to adjust or activate the Mayhem Mode. Instead, it will be available in a new tab within your ECHO Device so players can have full access at any time. For the all-new modifiers, players will be exposed to over 25 all-new modifiers that can be added to their game ranging from Easy to Hard. They also go into detail about the Modifiers saying, “Modifiers are selected as random, but the number of modifiers and those modifiers’ difficulty ratings are always the same for each Mayhem level”. The Mayhem Mode takes place on April 23rd.

With Borderlands 3 bringing their newly developed concepts to have fans be more interactive, their Revenge of the Cartels event is a “neon-soaked” free seasonal event that will take place between April 23rd to June 4th in the Borderlands 3 game. This event comes to fan in a limited-time with all-new areas, challenges, fresh enemy types, and new gear that includes Legendaries and new Anointments. On the Gearbox website they also go into detail about how players can get started, the Villa Ultraviolet and the Eridium Cartels and finally the Revenge of the Cartels Seasonal Rewards going in the game.
