The Monster Hunter 2020 movie, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, received mixed reviews, so expectations are mixed as well for this new Netflix adaptation. Aiden is a popular NPC from Monster Hunter 4, which was a popular addition to the series. Capcom has been busy and successful lately with new Monster Hunter game announcements and releases, and an acclaimed film would be good for them. Also excitingly, this movie will feature voice actor Dante Basco of Prince Zuko fame. Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild will be available for viewing on Netflix on August 12 alongside other movies involved in Netflix’s Geeked Week.
