Need For Speed By EA Games has been around since the 90’s. So not only are they creating a new game for long time fans and newcomers, they are starting from the ground up to revitalize the series with a reboot. Let’s hope Ghost Games is up to the challenge for the soon to come racing game for PS4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
Car lovers rejoice! EA games has posted many of the cars that you will be able to take for spin. This time around we’re getting a sweet new set of Exotic cars including the Mazda RX 7 Spirit R, Lamborghini Diablo SV, Porsche 911 Carrera RSR, Ford Mustang 1965, and a total of 17 exciting new cars so far. On top of that you will have a garage where you can tweak all of the specs on your car as well as the look of the outside. More than just colors as well you will be able to to have custom logos, textures and more.
The clips I’ve seen so far indicate that this will be a huge graphical and framerate upgrade. Something we’ve grown to love, a beautiful and fast paced game for those that like a balance of pure racing, dangerous racing speeds, and high speed tire squealing action.
The good news is there will be no micro-transactions in Need For Speed says IGN. This is a great benefit to those sick of or not wanting to spend any money from the already expensive base item. There also will be no paid DLC, hailing back to the old days you pay once and get all kinds of content. So lets hope they do have some free DLC on the way.
Somewhat of an annoyance though, is all versions are online only and require an internet connection and likely an EA games NFS account to play the game. However EA claims that the content and options they will give you in return are worth it. Need For Speed comes out on November 3 for PS4 and Xbox One and beta sign up is now closed. However Windows users will have to wait until next year to play the game.
