Necrobarista Has A Release Date

Route 59 Games, the Australian-based studio behind Project Ven, has announced that the official release date for their first commercial game, Necrobarista, is set for August of his year. The studio first revealed the title in January of 2017. Later that year, the studio then partnered with Coconut Island to publish the game on the Switch, PC, and Mac. Route 59 Games has since announced an additional release for the PlayStation 4, and hopes to launch all versions by the end of the year. Along with the launch date, the studio tweeted a reveal for the game’s new trailer showcasing some of the anime-inspired aesthetic and gameplay.

Necrobarista is a 3D visual narrative taking place in the Terminal, a supernatural cafe for spirits to enjoy their last day on Earth. Here, the dead are permitted to sip drinks with the living before they are forced to pass on, leaving the realm forever. Players will experience a thrilling story following the perspective of various unique characters dealing with the questionable ethics behind the use of necromancy, and learning to let go.

Necrobarista will be released for PC players (Windows & Mac) on the Steam Store on August 8th, 2019. Add this game to your Wishlist in order to be notified when it becomes available for download. The game is also expected to launch on both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, however, no official release date has been announced for the consoles as of yet.

Miki Allen: Hello! My name is Miki (pronounced just like Mickey Mouse) and I am a young writer working towards a career in film and video game writing. I have recently discovered that I DO NOT want to be a doctor, and have been studying Creative Writing and World Cinema. I love storytelling more than any subject, and would probably watch, read, or play anything given to me just to know how it ends.
