Mortal Kombat 11: Afrermath’s epilogue storyline is said to start right after the ending of the main game. As Liu Kang and Raiden plan to use Kronika’s Hourglass to make better timelines, fan-favorite antagonist Shang Tsung shows up with Nightwolf and Fujin as his allies. Along with this storyline, playable characters include Fujin, Sheeva, and Robocop (who is played by original actor Peter Weller). Along with those new characters new fighting locations, stage fatalities (which are just fatalities that involve the characters interacting with the environment), and Friendships are also a playable outcome for each fight.
Currently, the expansion pack is $40 USD, but if bought with the Aftermath+ Kombat Pack Bundle (which includes characters like the Terminator, Joker, Sindel, Nightwolf, Shang Tsung, Spawn, and many other exclusives) $50 USD. For those that do not have the original game both that and the Aftermath expansion can be bought for $60 USD. At the same time as being able to purchase all of these extras for the game, NetherRealm is also releasing a handful of free content that includes stage fatalities, new locations, and Friendship endings that will be released at the same time as Aftermath.
These are the stores currently offering pre-orders Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. Some of them are also selling pre-orders for the physical copy as well.
