The PlayStation blog and Capcom have confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28th, 2025. It will be launching on PC and console for the first time. There is an option to pre-order the game, which will give players exclusive bonuses like the “Guild Knight Set” and the Talisman “Hope Charm.” Players can also receive the Monster Hunter Wilds Digital Mini Art Book. Save data bonus also comes with the pre-order.
Based on the trailer, there are several features with which players will be introduced, including multiple new monsters, like the Arkvel: “A monster known among the commission as the White Wraith, described as having unique chain-like appendages extending from its wings. A species long thought to have been extinct, its ecology remains shrouded in mystery” and a river-dwelling monster. Scarlet Forest is also shown. This is a new confirmed area that players will get to explore. It has red-toned rivers, vegetation, and has unique environmental changes.
There are three editions that players can purchase:
- Standard Edition: the regular addition that can be played on PS5.
- Deluxe Edition: includes the PS5 and a deluxe pack that has cosmetics DLC such as Hunter Layered Armor and sticker sets.
- Premium Deluxe Edition: includes the standard and deluxe editions along with Cosmetic DLC packs 1 and 2, which will be released in the spring and summer of 2025, and premium bonuses.
Before getting an official release date there has been a lot of mystery about the game and even after receiving more information, there are still many details that have not been revealed yet but PlayStation urges players to stay tuned for more discoveries leading up to the game launch.
