Today developer Armatur Games and publisher Samustai has released Mittelborg: City of Mages onto PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game had previously only been available on PC and was released back in June 2019. Mittelborg: City of Mages is a strategic adventure game where you control the magical city of Mittelborg.
In Mittelborg: City of Mages, you will lead the city and make tough decisions that can have a drastic effect on the status of the city. Choices in the game can range from whether to spend resources on weapon upgrades or repairs, to which of your servants you are willing to sacrifice. Players will encounter a variety of hostile creatures such as monsters, mercenaries, nomads, zombies, and ghosts.
The game also features some rogue-like mechanics, making each playthrough unique, and requiring the player to use what they have learned during failed runs to be more successful in the next. Mittelborg: City of Mages features a wide spread of content that makes each playthrough unique. There are dozens of worlds for the player to experience, as well as hostile races to discover and defeat. The game also features hundreds of unique events that keep the gameplay and plot of Mittelborg: City of Mages from becoming stale. Additionally, the game features ten original orchestral soundtracks to accompany each playthrough.
Mittelborg: City of Mages is now available on PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game is also currently available on PC through Steam for $14.99. Additionally, from now until April 5, those who purchase the game will receive a fifty-five percent discount.
