Fans and players of Goddess of Victory: Nikke have another new game to look forward to. MIRESI: Invisible Future is the upcoming game from Nikke’s former art director from when it was in beta, Hyulla. The game is by Smilegate and Control9, Korean gaming companies. It is described as “A Time-Travel RPG to Save the Future,” on its official X account. It’s set to be PC and mobile game according to MIRESI’s official website. MIRESI: Invisible Future gameplay will be featured at the Tokyo Game Show 2025. In the lead up to the gameplay reveal, a PV teaser and OST has been released!

The title of the PV is “If It’s You, Could You Change It?” It opens with an unknown character asking, “… How many times have we been through this?” A character hangs upside down on a chain. The next scene flashes to a close up of a character’s face as they walk towards the viewer, the background full of destruction and fire as they say, “Salvation was always just within reach and always shattered.” Three characters fight a mob of different looking monsters as the voiceover continues and explains that they exist in a constant loop where they constantly face this destruction and loss. Time stopped in the background, the character once again faces the viewer and asks, “Are you the Councilor? If it’s you, could you change this future?”

Through the PV, we can learn a handful of things about the game’s story in its current state. The world is currently in an endless cycle of destruction and individuals have been fighting against the tide of this inevitable destruction for countless loops. At least one character is aware of the loops, and feels helpless — it is her chained upside down in the PV, and the chains break when she breaks the fourth wall and sees us, whom she calls the Councilor. It implies that we will be the ones to help them break the cycle and save the world.

Additionally, MIRESI has released an OST titled “Jumping in the Time / ラプラス・ダークネス,” performed by La+ Darkness (pronounced: Laplus Darkness) from Hololive Production’s holoX generation. The lyrics call to mind the glimpses of the story gathered from the PV. As a reminder, those who wish to get a glimpse of the gameplay can do so during the Tokyo Game Show 2025, happening next week from September 25 to September 28. More information is to come and will be found on the MIRESI official accounts.
