Just a few weeks after its reveal trailer, Mihira The Eternal Arc returns with a new PRE-ALPHA Gameplay Trailer for the upcoming game, that molds some of the reveal teaser with a new look at characters, and location visuals for the game.
As we arrive back in the temple, the protagonist lights incense before she prays. Soon, she meets an injured woman who looks to whisper something to her before smiling and dying. In another part of the temple one of the guards stands way too close to her but she doesn’t move, seemingly trying to avoid capture by playing statue. In a nice callback, the main god looking creature that battled the protagonist in the previous trailer, appears behind her as she stands in bloody water. More of the temple ruins are explored as the protagonist runs between two huge saws that threaten to cut her in half, and then a few familiar scenes play. Things ramp up as the protagonist spots another floating creature with powers that seems to be looking for her, so she ducks out of his sight and goes to the past to avoid it, which backfires as it follows her there. From this it looks like there are more players with time powers in the upcoming game.
More hidden parts of the temple are revealed, with wooden bridges, steep caverns with ancient symbols on every wall piece that are tricky to get over. We get more looks at her knifeplay with quick cuts sealing her win in a 1v1, she also uses the open spaced battleground to her advantage, by dancing around multiple attackers before she strikes them down, one at a time. More of her dodge shadow ability is showcased against a mighty soldier. And a cutscene seemingly is revealed, with the protagonist gaining a golden strand of what might be time? We get an extended cut of her temple battle with the main god creature, and we see what looks to be a powerful counter strike. The previous trailers’ briefly seen god type creature is expanded here, with it holding four massive spinning strikes above and around him to target the protagonist. The godly looking creature is semi translucent, being able to pop in or out of existence, and can fly, however, this overpowered being is still able to get hit, as the protagonist uses her staff to give it ending the trailer as a whole.
