Every Xbox Live Gold member has access to “Games With Gold,” a program that releases free games twice a month month, for both Xbox One, and for the Xbox 360 – Xbox One owners, however, always come out the winner, thanks to backwards compatibility.
The lineup for April has been released, and it might be the strongest one thus far.
For Xbox One, fans can download The Wolf Among Us between April 1-30. As with the earlier release of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season One, players will receive the retail version with all 5 episodes.
Xbox One players can also download Sunset Overdrive from April 16 to May 15. The open-world game involves players utilizing parkour and a “large arsenal of weapons” to fight off mutants in the dystopian Sunset City.
The titles for Xbox 360 are Dead Space, which will be available from April 1-15, and Saints Row IV, which can be downloaded between April 16 and 30. Xbox 360 players are still able to add the Xbox One games to their account, if they foresee an upgrade to the One sometime in their future.
All four games up for grabs are critically acclaimed and pretty popular among fans themselves. Overall, this is a month that can’t be missed.
