Ukrainian Cloud gaming service Boosteroid will be receiving Microsoft PC games on its service starting June 1st. According to Microsoft, Boosteroid subscribers in Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, and in the European Union will be able to play Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios games Deathloop, Gears 5, Grounded and Pentiment.
Soon, Boosteroid members will also be able to access games purchased through certain Steam or the Epic Game Store and support for games purchased through the Microsoft Store. Boosteroid can play PC games from Xbox across a wide range of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Android, Android TV, and macOS through an app, and even more devices through browsers and webOS.
Boosteroid is one of the many cloud gaming services including Ubitus, Nware, and EE that Microsoft has partnered with to further it’s efforts to expand the reach Microsoft games. As Microsoft’s continues its fight to get its Activision Blizzard acquisition officially approved, its partnerships with these platforms reveal its efforts to prove that the acquisition will be beneficial to everyone in the video game industry. Microsoft has also partnered with Nintendo and NVIDIA. Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard deal has been approved by China, European Union, Japan, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Chile, South Africa and Ukraine.
