Microsoft Offering Free Games During Xbox One’s Release

Microsoft has been spending the last few months trying to make good on the wrongs they committed with the Xbox One’s announcement. Their attempts for customer reconciliation continue with a new development on the Xbox One’s release packet.

In Europe, and as it stands this applies to Europe only, the Xbox One will be released with an exclusive or other major next generation release in tow. No word has yet arrived on what these packeted games will be, but for the time Microsoft has promised that each sold console will come with a game to play. This is big news.

When the Xbox was originally released the computer giant had new customer packs available along with it. These were usually second hand games that were rushed through production and served no major blockbuster appeal. However, according to new news, the games that will be packed in with Xbox One release will be larger titles with a more formed fan base. Microsoft has reportedly spent millions on this deal to construct a new relationship with their fan base after an underwhelming and overall disappointing release announcement. Nobody was quite happy with the news coming out of E3. The potential for growth and change was there, and Microsoft has done everything in their power to ensure a beautiful final package for those lined at the doors come release day.

Furthermore, CVG is reporting that Microsoft has signed a deal with EA to release Fifa 14 as an added bonus to the release package Microsoft has planned.

The overall goal of these grand gestures is to make the Xbox One competitive with the Playstation 4 on price. Hopefully their attempts at customer redemption are not in vein.
