Media Molecule May Be Teasing A Beta Announcement For Dreams

Media Molecule has announced a new stream for their upcoming game, Dreams. Ever since it was announced in 2015, there was suppose to be a beta for the game. It seems that Media Molecule may be teasing that the beta will be coming soon. The stream is set for Tuesday, December 18.

The game has been in development for a long time, as the beta was originally supposed to come out in 2015 when it revealed. However, it has since been delayed twice. During that time, Media Molecule posted a statement regarding the delay. “Dreams is Big. Really big. I mean, we always knew we were a bit crazy, but the enormity of it has taken even us by surprise. And rather than cutting corners we are staying true to our vision – that Dreams isn’t just about drawing, or sculpting, but also game creation, storytelling, animation, music and sound, all rolled into one whole beautiful PlayStation game.” The game and the team has since been in development, working hard on creating something new and unique.

This year, people got to have some hands-on time with the game. It was one of Game Informer’s Cover stories and they have a lot of information on how the game works and functions. One of the noteworthy new features that was revealed this year about the game is how you can also create and import audio into whatever you are creating. That means music, sound effects, voiceovers; everything can be done from the PlayStation console itself. Dreams is an ever-expanding game universe where you explore, experience and play in the limitless imagination of players around the world. You can create and share your dreams to a platform where you can also experience other player’s creations. You can also create things using other player’s inventions if you want to as well. Dreams seems to be only limited by your imagination.
