Mass Effect: Andromeda Drops New Video in Andromeda Initiative Youtube Series; Shows off Golden Planets

As the release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda continues to creep forward, the team behind it continues to release videos that make the community slowly go mad with anxiety. A few days ago the newest video was released in which it discussed golden planets as well as what exactly the overall mission of the game is.

The primary goal is for us to find a new home for our people within the Andromeda Galaxy that will allow us to strive. In order to accomplish this we must explore these golden planets to find the right one to help us do this. These golden planets are potentially new habitats for us and the video shows the tech officer Suvi talking about what these planets are and how they will help us build up our ship.

Welcome to the Andromeda Initiative’s Golden Worlds briefing. Discover the types of planets Pathfinder’s seek for humanity’s next home. Completion of this briefing contributes to all recruits unlocking exclusive equipment for use in the field.

Within the video Suvi talks about how the Nexus requires a plethora of materials to keep it going, hinting that players will have to mine planets to get resources to reach these planets. There will be four materials total that players will need in order to build upon the Nexus to unlock more people and projects as you traverse through the galaxy. Have a look at the video below and see what you think.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will be launching on March 21st on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. The game won’t have a multiplayer beta but will allow people to play as early as March 16th if they have EA access on Xbox One or Origin Access on PC. Until then, stay tuned for all your Mass Effect news and updates.
