Mass Effect: Andromeda Art Book Supposedly Reveals Game’s Release Date

The latest Mass Effect game has seen it’s fair share of development woes. From developers leaving and the game getting delayed, Bioware is due for some good news. While this latest bit of news isn’t good, it isn’t that bad either. Baby steps.

According to Destructoid, the Mass Effect: Andromeda art book may have revealed when the game will come out. On the book’s Amazon page, the description says that the book will be released the same day as the game. It’s an innocent enough statement, but when you look at the “add to cart” section it says that it will be available on March 21, 2017.

If you look for the book on Bioware’s site it says that the book will be out “early 2017”, so take that for what you will.

This is most likely nothing more than an error in communication. See, the book is published by Dark Horse who handles a lot of Mass Effect‘s comics and novels according to Destructoid. So it is possible that Dark Horse made the Amazon listing and Bioware posted it on their site. Some wires got crossed and bam! Everyone knows when the game will be out.

N7 Day is coming up on November 7th and Bioware is bound to have some fun stuff planned, including an official release date announcement.

Bioware recently showed off Mass Effect: Andromeda during Sony’s PS4 Pro reveal, you can check out the game running on the new hardware here. It was also revealed that instead of you choosing gender for your character, players will instead choose between a brother and sister.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to be released on Xbox One, PC, and all versions of the PS4 whenever it comes out.
