Marvel’s Spider Man 2 To Release On PC Early 2025

PC gamers will finally have the chance to play Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 early next year. PlayStation announced the release date for the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on a blog post on Friday.

According to the announcement, to purchase the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition when the game releases late January 2025. Initially releasing in 2023, the console version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sold over 11 million units worldwide. Altogether, PlayStation reported in February that the Marvel’s Spider-Man series sold over 50 million units.

Marvel Games Executive Producer Eric Monacelli and Insomniac Core Technology Director Mike Fitzgerald shared their excitement for the announcement in separate statements.

“Showcasing our characters to as many fans as possible, in the coolest ways possible, are some of the reasons they are so beloved. In that spirit, we’re excited that our Spider Heroes, their friends, and their Super Villains are coming to PC in the critically acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,” said Monacelli. “Collaborating with Insomniac Games and PlayStation produced a timeless Super Hero video game classic that, thanks to Nixxes and the support of all teams involved, players can now experience on PC with thrilling enhanced features.”

“Our amazing partners at Nixxes have once again done an incredible job bringing the world of Marvel’s Spider-Man to PC players,” said Fitzgerald. “Our team put a lot of love into this game, and we’re excited that it will soon be enjoyed by a whole new audience with keyboard and mouse controls, ultra widescreen support, and numerous graphical options that make it feel at home on their platform.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 continues the story Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they fight to protect New York City from the iconic Spider-Man villain Venom. PC gamers will be able to enjoy all the post-release content for the game, which includes New Game+, skins and more.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 releases on PC January 30, 2025 via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
