Marvel’s Iron Man VR Comes To PSVR

Everyone’s wanted to fly before. Not just in a plane, or a helicopter, but to just soar effortlessly through the air. While that may not be possible now or ever, at least with technology you can pretend you’re doing it from the comfort of your own home.

Marvel’s Iron Man VR is a free-flying adventure seen through the visor of the titular Iron Man suit. Players don their PSVR headsets and PlayStation Move controllers to take control of the iconic piece of technology that’s become a symbol of Marvel almost as much as Marvel’s own logo. When you put that headset on, you become Tony Stark, billionare industrialist and founder of the Avengers. You get to explore his decadent Malibu home, nibbling on food, reading books, and even playing basketball.

But you’re not playing Iron Man VR to be Tony Stark, you’re playing it to be Iron Man. Using the PlayStation Move controllers as repulsors, it’s simple and engaging to soar around in the signature suit, carrying out important business like protecting important targets or defusing bombs. You’ll fight off hordes of robotic foes, using your repertoire of moves, all in different locations. Completing a mission unlocks you special challenges and races for the more competitively inclined, or free flight mode for those who just want a more relaxing flight experience

As you complete main and side missions, you’ll gain research points which you can use to upgrade your suit – from new weapons to full system upgrades, as well as well-known suit patterns like the Iron Patriot. Whether you’re looking for a dazzling flying simulator or an engaging VR combat simulator, Iron Man VR is sure to have what you’re looking for and more.

Marvel’s Iron Man VR is now available on PlayStation VR. You can check it out here.
