Looks like gaming is taking a new turn again this time teaming up with the network who brought you Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything (You may not want to know). Disney seems to be seeing potential in pushing video game related media of all kinds as well Star Wars Games and of course Disney Infinity Playsets and Games. Now they are teaming up with Nintendo to bring you something even crazier says Gamespot.
That’s right the live super competitive Mario Kart TV show is coming on December 5th to Disney XD. The TV show will be called Clash of Carts. This is a one time only event but it is still pretty awesome to see how far gaming has come from being made fun of to being at the front of everyone’s television. Not only this it boasts popular Youtube hosts as well as crazy competition and exciting racing.
“Esports is something that’s blossoming, but it’s still early days,” says Gamestop in an interview with Disney representative Buhaj.
According to Gamespot this is all thanks to a previous Disney/ Nintendo team-up where they had what is known as the Nintendo World Championship so this really exciting to those interested in seeing more Nintendo action played live on your Disney network.
