Major Resident Evil Sale On Steam

To help gamers properly celebrate this scariest of holidays, Steam has shelved a slew of the popular survival horror games on sale. Resident Evil is on major discount until tomorrow, Monday 11/2, at 10am PST. Fans can receive up to 75% off on minor and major titles in the franchise. Resident Evil Revelations 2, Episode One Penal Colony, starring Claire Redfield, is offered at 67% off, making for an easy purchase of $1.97 USD. The entire season, including bonus episodes, is 40% off, selling at $14.99 in lieu of $24.99. Meanwhile, RE Revelations, the first in the newly minted series featuring fan favorite Jill Valentine, is selling at 70% off at $8.99, and the Complete Pack, packed with bonus enhancement set, cosmetic changes, weapons, and more, is also at 70% off, making a neat $11.99 instead of $39.99.

The game that started it all, good old, heavy hitter Resident Evil HD Remastered is being offered for 25% off at $14.99. Many critics have praised the remastered version for its improved resolution in environments, finely detailed graphics, and better sound quality. If you’re feeling nostalgic, it’s definitely worth the buy.  RE 4 and RE 5 are respectively 66% off and offered for the same price of $6.79 each. While RE 5 was initially criticized for its more action/shooter oriented gameplay in horror/survival series, it is generally agreed among fans to be a step up from RE 6, which is on sale for 75% off for $7.49. However, for those completionists out there, there is the option to buy all three (RE 4, RE 5, and RE 6) bundled in the Resident Evil Franchise Pack for the price of $20.39 USD.

Capcom didn’t stop there for this spooky holiday. Bringing out the big guns, they are offering 50% off their “Halloween Elite Pack” which includes: Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition, Devil May Cry 4 Special Editions, Resident Evil Revelations 2 (plus bonus material), Resident Evil HD Remastered. All this for $59.98.

All these can be purchased easily through Steam, and sales are available until 10am PST.

Happy haunting!
