There are many games in which the protagonist fight against demons and gods. Then there are games where we find ourselves playing lawyers, ace detectives, and security guards. But now there’s a game that lets players take on the role of a CEO of the company Death Incorporated. And the boss of this company is none other than Death himself. Have a Nice Death is an upcoming 2D rougelike game that is being developed by Magic Design Studios where players take the role of Death and set off to regain order in the company. As part of the trailer series the developers are releasing, Magic Design Studios launched a new gameplay trailer titled Life in the Afterlife: Your First Day As CEO.
Death Incorporated is in chaos due to the company executives known as Sorrows who have gone rogue and have been reaping a large amount of souls on Earth leaving Death overwhelmed with paperwork. Players explore the different departments of the company seeking to stop Death’s rogue employees and help him take control of his company and earn his much-needed coffee break. The gameplay trailer features the exploration of the different departments and a showcase of Death’s abilities.
Death uses a variety of weapons such as swords, knives, bows, and even rocket launchers. His most notable weapon is his scythe and as you progress with the game, there will be upgrades and transformations for the scythe to enhance its power. The Pit book gives players the power of magic which lets out explosive attacks. With these two, players can create powerful combos to take on Death’s enemies. Have a Nice Death is available for early access on Steam and is scheduled to be released on the Nintendo Switch and PC on March 22, 2023.
