Madden Rating Week Starts Off With Top Ten Receivers in Game

Madden 23 is set to release on August 19 for major consoles. Leading up to the release, EA Sports has decided to release information about the top ten highest-rated receivers in the game, with many other positions being released throughout the rest of the week as well.

Coming in at first is the Raiders’ receiver, Davante Adams. Adams is a 99 overall in the game, meaning that he will join just a few other players in Madden’s esteemed 99 club. This is the second year in a row that Adams is a 99 overall and this will be his first year with the Las Vegas Raiders after being traded from the Green Bay Packers during the offseason.

The second highest-rated receiver is Cooper Kupp from the Los Angeles Rams. Cupp is coming off one of the most impressive receiving seasons of all time and will be rated as a 98 in the game. Although he is just one point shy of the 99 club, Kupp will have the opportunity to improve his rating since player ratings are adjusted throughout the season.

Third place for highest receiver ratings is Miami Dolphin receiver Tyreek Hill at a 97 overall. Hill spent the majority of his career in Kansas City and was traded to the Dolphins for a plethora of picks this offseason. Tyreek Hill is one of the fastest players in the NFL and will surely be a fun character to play with once the game is released.

The fourth highest rated receiver is Deandre Hopkins at a 96 overall, followed up by Stefon Diggs in fifth at a 95 overall. Hopkins plays for the Arizona Cardinals and was the first receiving option in the most recent season. Diggs is on the Buffalo Bills and helped lead the Bills to a playoff victory against the New England Patriots this past postseason.

Justin Jefferson and Mike Evans are the next two highest-rated receivers at 93 overall and 92 overall. Jefferson plays for the Minnesota Vikings while Evans is a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Finally, the next three spots are held by Terry McLaurin, Keenan Allen, and Amari Cooper. Terry McLaurin plays for the Washington Commanders and will be a 91 overall. Allen will also be a 91 overall and plays for the Los Angeles Chargers. The tenth highest-rated receiver is Cleveland Browns player Amari Cooper, who will be a 90 overall when the game is released.

Madden 23 will consistently update these ratings throughout the season as many players will be looking to continue climbing the ranks of the top receivers in the game. The Madden 23 rating week will continue until July 23 with the announcements of edge rushers, cornerbacks, tight ends, and quarterbacks each being announced at separate times.
