In Loop Hero, players are thrown in a world stuck in an endless time loop by an evil Lich. Each playthrough of the game is unique as the layouts of each map are different every time. Players will place a variety of cards with different effects along with the different loops their character travels along. Cards include different enemies, buildings, and terrains that have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Players will level up their character, and use the resources from each run in order to upgrade their camp and gradually progress further and further into the game. Different loot such as weapons and armor can be found and equipped during each run. Before each run, players are able to select from a range of unlockable character classes and deck cards to take with them on their journey.
Fans of other deck builders such as Slay the Spire and the tower defense genre should definitely look into Loop Hero.
Loop Hero is now available to purchase on Steam for $14.99 USD. Up until March 11 the game is also discounted at 15% off. Those who are unsure whether or not the game is for them are able to download a free demo of the game off of its Steam page.
