

Recently, developers at Lilith Games and Farlight have officially released a trailer for an upcoming collaboration with their game AFK Journey and the anime Fairy Tail, making this their first-ever collaboration for the game, according to GameFragger. Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia will arrive in Esperia on May 1st of this year. AFK Journey is available on Android, iOS, and Windows.
The trailer shows some clips from the official anime, showing off the main characters and their special powers. They reveal what the skins will look like in the game as well, making them the game’s first Dimensional Heroes, and also bringing along their signature combat styles from the anime and onto the battlefield.
The characters will also be voiced by Japanese voice actors in the game. Natsu, the main protagonist of the series, will be voiced by Tetsuya Kakihara. Lucy, the other protagonist, will be voiced by Aya Hirano. According to an article from GameFragger, Farlight has not released any information about their official abilities or roles as of yet, but Natsu is said to be an S-level hero, which may make him harder to obtain by players. Lucy, however, is said to be an A-level hero, meaning that she could be more accessible to players.
For players who may not know AFK Journey, it is a fantasy role-playing game that was released on March 27th, 2024, and it serves as a sequel to the role-playing game AFK Arena. There are many different characters with different roles and abilities to bring to the table. Players will take the role of Merlin, a mage who has lost their memories and must gather allies to discover the secrets of Esperia, along with putting a stop to the spread of evil.
AFK Journey allows players to explore an open world, engage in strategic combat, and build a collection of heroes with different skills and abilities. AFK Joruney also has an Idle System, where players who are not actively playing the game, and cross-platform is also available for both PC and mobile devices.
