Why not play a game and also when prizes as well to make up for it! 11 Bit Studios’ hardcore strategy game SPACECOM, has been in the works for many months now, now is the time to show it to the players as the premiere for the game is coming closer. With that in mind, 11 Bit Studios announced that they have launched a closed beta for all those hardcore strategists out there. Though this isn’t just a beta, they also announced their first multiplayer tournament for SPACECOM! The Tournament starts today and goes until September 11th.
Don’t know about SPACECOM? In SPACECOM, players experience a starfleet command game that will make that rabbit foot, or four leaf clover obsolete, because luck isn’t anything to do with it when it comes to this game, it is all about skill versus skill in this multiplayer focused game. It is a battle of strategists, where deception, smart movement, and choices to battle will be the decision maker when it comes to victory and defeat.
“Spacecom pushes your ability to strategize with a focus on real-time tactics and planning. Use proven maneuvers learned from military legends or devise your own plans. Dominate your enemies in planetary systems with up to six players per campaign. Most of all, you’ll need a bright mind, cunning, and sound tactics.”
