Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens has New Exclusive Adventures

On this year’s Star Wars Day, Disney has given us a new Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer.  In this new trailer, we see that the game will have exclusive new adventures taking place in The Force Awakens’ universe.

One of the new adventures is “Rathtar Hunting” with Han Solo.  If you don’t remember, Rathtars were those giant mouths with teeth and tentacles that Han kept on the Millennium Falcon.  The next adventure is “Crimson Corsair,”a story of a space pirate foiling the plans of The First Order.  The Crimson Corsair is character we didn’t see in the Force Awakens, but who has appeared in other stories before.  It’s unsure if the Crimson Corsair and is odd looking companions will be connected to The Force Awakens or if this will just be a stand alone adventure.

Then there is “Lor San Tekka’s Return,” which focuses on the old man in the opening scene of Force Awakens.  This story will give us a look at what happened right before the film started.  And finally we have “Rescue Admiral Ackbar” as Poe Damaron.  Poe, Admiral Ackbar, BB-8, and C-3PO must avoid enemy fire and escape from the First Order.  Fans who thought Poe didn’t get enough time on screen should be happy to see more of him.

There were two more new adventures shown at the end named “Trouble over Taul” and “Ottegan Assault.”  We didn’t get see these adventures, but it does show that there are even more adventures to look forward to.  It’s hinted in the trailer that players will discover other secrets about the film, like how C-3PO got his red arm?

Fans will be glad to know that this game will feature voice acting from the actual cast of The Force Awakens.  There will be all new dialogue and it will be great to see the real actors deliver some silly light-hearted lines, like Harrison Ford saying “Wookie Cookies.”

It looks like Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will offer a lot of content for a LEGO game.  The last gameplay trailer we saw showed how the game is putting some more variety in the combat and shooting sections, as well as adding space dog fights.  Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available on June 28 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS, and PC.
