League of Legends Volibear is Receiving a New Update

One of the remarkable things that comes from League of Legends is their character development throughout the game. This time their own Volibear is receiving a new update that gives him a new appearance, new skills, and a new playstyle which are all being unveiled for fans to see now.

On the League of Legends website, they go into great detail by describing Volibear in his updated bio about the new adventure he will take on and see what value he brings into the game. They stated that “To those who still revere him, the Volibear is the storm made manifest. Destructive, wild, and stubbornly resolute, he exited before mortals walked the Freljord’s tundra, and is fiercely protective of the lands that he and his demi-god kin created. Cultivating a deep hatred of civilization and the weakness it brought with it, he now fights to return to the old ways – when the land was untamed, and blood spilled freely – and eagerly battles all who oppose him, with tooth, claw, and thundering domination”.

Riot Games, the developers of League of Legends, gave players a first look at the latest update of Volibear by presenting the unique playstyle through a 30-minute live stream on the League of Legends YouTube page.

With Volibear’s update, it gives him a menacing profile and wilder looks. The splash art and the game model even reveals that his heavy silver armor is removed. Volibear also obtains a pair of dangling braids that reminiscent closely to Ornn’s shorter locks which makes his mane more apparent. Volibear’s arms and left eye both have glowing symbols tatted on.

Volibear’s new move, The Relentless Storm, releases an electronic shock and can deal magic damage to any of his enemies that are nearby. To see all of Volibear’s skills and other updates added to him, check the League of Legends website. The Volibear update is out now.
