Latest Humble Bundle Includes Battleborn

The latest Humble Bundle just dropped, and it’s jam-packed with $360 worth of popular goodies – so popular, in fact, that at the time of this writing, over 193,749 have already been sold.

From developer 2K Games, a Humble Bundle has various payment tiers with a variety of games, and players can pay however much they want, as well as determine how much of their donation is split between the charity – either this bundle’s Game Changer, or whichever one you choose – the developer, and the Humble tip jar.

For $1, players receive The Darkness IISpec Ops: The Line, and Duke Nukem Forever. By paying more than the average of $8.98, players unlock Sid Meier’s Civilization VNBA 2K16Mafia II Director’s Cut, Battleborn Starter Skin Pack, Freedom Force, Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified, and Railroad Tycoon 3.

Finally, by paying $15 or more, players unlock Battleborn, along with 230 in-game platinum currency, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The bundle also includes 10% off Humble Monthly for new subscribers, and 40% off XCOM 2.

Thus far, $1,739,407.67 has been raised, with an average of $8.98 paid across Windows, Mac, and Linux users, and Windows users lead the pack in donations. No wonder – it’s a hefty list of titles, and an impressive one at that. It doesn’t look good for Battleborn, though, to already be included in a charity pack at a deeply discounted price, only a few months after its release.

It hit a peak player count of 12,000 on Steam back in May, and has since dropped to 1,300 as of last month. Maybe with the inclusion in the Humble Bundle, it’ll see a second chance at life, much like Evolve‘s rebounded popularity after it was made free-to-play.
