Rockstar Games has provided more information on the latest update for Red Dead Online. In Moonshiners, players can live their wildest dreams as a black-market bootlegger as you team up with an infamous distiller and run a Moonshining business. The latest update also includes The Outlaw Pass No. 2 with 100 ranks of new rewards and a new feature in Red Dead Online called Offers and Rewards.
In order to become involved in the moonshining business, there are certain goals that have to be achieved. One, players must have either rank 5 as a Trader or completed a Trader sell mission on. Once either of the goals has been accomplished, players will meet Maggie Fike in Emerald Ranch, who will help establish your business. Two, players will need to purchase a property. You’ll be able to purchase one of five moonshining shacks that Maggie will help run. Players can also expand their business to include a bar, space for a band and dancefloor, and additional upgrades for your moonshining equipment.
As you progress in the moonshining business, new story missions will be available to partake in either in solo or with a posse. The story involves Maggie Fike getting revenge as she helps you build your business. Each mission will provide you with benefits that will propel your business forward such as eliminating rivals, learning new recipes, and establishing a clientele. You can also take your business across the five states. The Moonshiner specialist role features its own unique progression path that unlocks apparel and accessories, equipment upgrades, new weapons, ornament designs, new horse breeds and more.
The Outlaw Pass No. 2.’s rewards will feature all-new clothing and accessories, role XP boosts during the club membership period and gold gifts up to 40 gold bars. The free Wheeler, Rawson and Co. Club Membership also entitles players to select perks up until March 10, 2020, as you accumulate XP. All Red Dead Online players are enrolled automatically by playing the game.
Offers and Rewards is a new feature in Red Dead Online that will display a collection of gifts, discounts, and promotions that can be applied to a range of goods. Rewards include things like gold bars, refills on Trader and Moonshiner business supplies, clothing items and accessories, and other complimentary gifts. Offers include things like discounts on select items. Rewards and Offers can be found on the Benefits page in the pause menu.
