Koei Tecmo Offers Fans to Give Feedback for Future Dynasty Warriors Games with a Special Survey

Believe it or not, but we’re approaching the 20th Anniversary of the Dynasty Warriors franchise. Be it a surprise or not, but the series is still going strong after all this time, despite numerous spin-offs and interesting cross overs that have spawned their own series themselves. With that in mind, it seems only appropriate that Koei Tecmo reach out to the fanbase and see what they have in mind for the future. The company is offering survey for those interested in giving some feedback as well as new ideas for potential future titles.

The survey is 22 questions long, which should take up to 10 or 15 minutes of your time depending on how much feedback you’ll give them. It’s fairly simple enough with general questions such as what systems you’ve played the games on as well as which titles in the franchise you consider to be your favorite. The most interesting question in the survey is number 19 where it asks if you’re going to buy the next iteration in the series.

If you pick an answer that shows you’re no longer interested, then there are two follow up questions where one of which gives the option “tired of the Dynasty Warriors series.” This itself is followed up with another question where the survey asks you to elaborate on why you’re tired of the franchise. This section alone shows that Koei Tecmo is very much aware that despite the longevity of the series, the formula is finally starting to show its age.

Make no mistake, Dynasty Warriors is one of the longest-tenured in video game history. It’s easily the most iconic and recognizable of the hack and slash genre and set the standard for numerous titles. The aforementioned spin-offs have produced their own fanbases, which include Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, and Warriors Orochi the crossover title. For those interested in the 20th Anniversary survey, you have until July 26 to complete it. Once you do, you’ll be given a special wallpaper to display in your background.
