Publisher Deep Silver and Developer Warhorse Studios have announced that they will be moving the initial release date of their game Kingdom Come: Deliverance II from February 11 2025 to February 4, 2025. The game is being made available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Gematsu shares that the game has gone gold; the development cycle for the game has reached its final stages, now only requiring bug fixes. A brand new story trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II was dropped this past week detailing system specifications for both console and the PC release including details about performance modes featured on the PlayStation 5 Pro.

The setting of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a chaotic civil war in fifteenth century Bohemia. You assume the player role of Henry of Skalitz, an ordinary blacksmith searching for his purpose. IGN conducted an interview with a spokesperson at Warhorse Studios, Stolz-Zwilling; He had this to say about Kingdom Come: Deliverance II “The story and plot of [Kingdom Come: Deliverance] has evolved — it’s darker, deeper, and more cinematic, yet also crueler with pivotal decisions and plot twists that challenge the players’s conscience. Nevertheless, it retains its humor and down-to-earth approach,” Stolz-Zwilling said. “As mentioned already, Henry is embarking on a journey from the countryside and local quarrels to a relatively cosmopolitan city that is besieged and occupied by the invading king. Naturally, in a place like this, people can expect a wide range of ethnicities and different characters that Henry will meet on his journey.”

Player choice will determine how other characters react to you, allowing you to choose a moral stance; traversal opens up activities like blacksmithing and archery or allows you to visit taverns, bathhouses, and castles. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II appears to appeal to an audience that enjoys a rich and involved player experience. Fortunately for fans the wait has been shortened, even if by just a little.
