On June 25th, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II reached 6 million copies sold around the world. In an announcement made by Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios, the RPG’s success was proclaimed proudly by both studios. Silver Deep and Warhorse Studios also made mention of the Steam Summer Sale, announcing that the game would be on discount during the two week duration. As of now, the standard edition of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is at a 60% discount, going from $59.99 to just $23.99. Fans of the series and newcomers alike may want to make most of the sale, while the hit RPG is still on discount.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is an Action RPG set within medieval Europe. Players follow the journey of Henry of Skalitz, and how they choose to play the game determines the way Henry interacts with the world. Players can choose to become a mighty knight, a precise archer, or a charismatic aristocrat, and everything in-between. This freedom of play style, along with the narrative, are major parts of why this game has reached 6 million copies sold.
Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios seem to be on the rise with the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. The game released February 4th of 2025, and made quite the uproar in terms of the awards and nominations it received. Some of the most notable of these included winning The BAFTA Games Award for Best Narrative, and a nomination at The Game Awards itself, both mentioned in the announcement.
Two future releases were also announced in the statement made by Silver Deep and Warhorse studios. One of these will be another Kingdom Come game, while another will take place within Middle-Earth, the setting for J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Many fans of both franchises can certainly look forward to the new announcements that were made, and if the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is anything to go off of, the fans can place their trust within Warhorse Studios.
