Join The Epic Battle Between Demon And Angels In Devil’s Hunt, Still No Official Release Date Announced

Layopi Games and 1C Entertainment prepare for the release of their upcoming action-adventure title, Devil’s Hunt. Based on the novel “Equilibrium” by Pawet Lesniak, the project is a story-based exploration game taking place in a future world caught in the middle of an all-out destructive war between the champions of light and darkness. Which side would you defend? Would you join at all?

Follow the adventure with Hell’s newly appointed executor, Desmond.  Through a series of unfortunate events, he acquires demonic powers which could decide the outcome of the entire war. But which side should he assist? While adjusting to his newfound demon powers, Desmond’s human side refuses to fade away (not that that’s a bad thing). Throughout his journey, he will experience his two inner selves struggle for dominance: a demon half deadset on revenge and a human half desperate to retain his humanity.

The team is currently working towards finalizing the project. There have been a few updates released by the developers this month, including some shared concept art of the Hell section that can be explored. A short clip was recently posted to the game’s Twitter page revealing some of the weapon choices available for combat. While he will have the ability to fight with his terrifying demon powers, Desmond can also make use of several handheld weapons.

According to its Steam page, Layopi Games is currently expecting to launch the game by the end of the third quarter of 2019. As of right now, no official release date has been announced. Hopefully, though, the project will see its completion before the end of the year. Devil’s Hunt will be playable on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. Lukasz Ziob, vice president of Layopi Games, mentions in his interview with GameReactor that the studio is looking into a release for the Nintendo Switch. No news as of yet, but players can expect further details to be announced in the next few months. Wishlist the title on the Steam Store to be notified when it becomes available.
