Jet Set Radio & Persona 3 Remake Footage Leaks

Last year, it was reported that SEGA is planning to release remakes of several of its titles. They are planning to be released in the next two to three years. Over the weekend, footage of the Jet Set Radio and Persona 3 Remake leaked online.

A video posted on Sunday showed Yukari from Persona 3 battling an enemy and firing magical arrows. This was followed by early preview footage of Sonic Frontiers. The caterpillar enemy showcased in the footage has a different move set in the final game, but the footage matches with concept artwork from the Sonic Frontiers digital art book. Then, a five-second clip that looks to be Beat from Jet Set Radio dancing. According to the Twitter user who posted the video, the footage is “from SEGA Japan’s internal meeting held in 2021.” The video has text in the corner of the screen that reads “footage in development.”

Numerous sites have come forward and say that they have information that makes them believe the footage is legitimate. A watermarked image was shared that looks similar to the Jet Set Radio. SEGA news site SEGAbits posted that they received leaked images from a survey asking about different art styles for a Jet Set Radio game.

Another Twitter user spotted a website called p3re.jp. This is notable because it had been registered by the same domain provider as the official Persona 5 Royal website.

Getmatsu said that they understand that a Persona 3 remake has been in development at ATLUS for several years.
