The Internet Archive based in San Francisco, California provides the general public digital access to all sorts of collections such as music websites, photos, books, and games. This internet library is constantly releasing new materials and this past week was no exception. Thousands of MS-DOS games from the 80s and 90s are now available on the archive for the public to enjoy.
While some of these games have a few kinks here and there, feedback has been generally positive. To play some of the Archives more notable games such as Prince of Persia or Orgeon trail, please visit their website. For any questions on MS-DOS games please visit the Internet Archive’s FAQ section or hop on over to Jason Scott’s personal blog for futher details.
