Indie Developed Action Beast Rider Coridden Receives A New Trailer And Releases This Month

Publisher Anshar and developer Aftnareld have revealed the release date of their indie action role playing adventure title Coridden. The date reveal came about by way of a brand new trailer; players can expect the game to release on January 29 exclusively on PC.

Coridden takes place in the legendary city of Aasha. You will assume the role of a ‘monster-shifter’, a being with the ability to switch between a human and beast form freely. Gematsu reports you’ll choose from one of four human classes and train one or more of the seven beast masteries. Coridden features cooperative play with up to three other players.

In an interview conducted by LV1 Gaming, Head of Publishing at Anshar Publishing Jakub Kwinta shared this about the co-op elements of Coridden  “Since the first basic approach of the game, co-op was always the first design assumption. So, I said the game supports four players co-op, four players locally and online and basically this was the biggest thing. The whole story was built around four siblings (being and trying) finding out what’s going on in the ancient world. So, I would say that since the beginning co-op was the thing, that thanks to that, you know, some of the jigsaws on the map relate to how many people are playing, so for example we have (right now we have a tutorial level so it’s hard to show an example but) for example we have some kind of rails on the map, one player will push it, second player is on the trolley and they achieve some other stuff that is behind the wall…”

You’ll be able to ride each other players in cooperative play when they are in their beast form and the character you choose at the start will feature a unique side quest and dialogue.

Indie publisher Anshar and developer Aftnareld are putting their best foot forward with the release of Coridden. The game will surely provide an avenue for players looking for something different to kick off the new year.
