Indie Adventure Title Just Crow Things Releases On PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 March 19

Developer Unbound Creations have announced that their indie sandbox adventure title Just Crow Things would be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5 on March 19. Gematsu shares that the title was previously made available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 15, 2024.

The setting of Just Crow Things comprises various sandboxes including towns, ancient civilizations, and the haunted woods. You assume the role of a small female crow with the sole goal to make new friends, poop on humans and steal people’s trinkets.

LV1 Gaming interviewed the creative director at Unbound Creations Jakub Kasztalski and asked him to elaborate on the game’s open world design, he had this to say “So just for a bit of context, this game is a spiritual successor to our previous title called Rain on Your Parade, where you play as a cloud and ruin everybody’s day and your first level is literally a wedding that you rain on and ruin; And we went on to take that formula and grow and learn from what our players liked the most and one of the things that players liked the most is the bigger levels, the open levels. So we wanted to take that element and focus on it and evolve it…”

Just Crow Things allows you to pick up any object including spray cans, leaf blowers and blow torches. Racing challenges and the filling the Punycyclopedia are included alongside side quests in 10 of the game’s locations.

Developers at Unbound Creations have sought to expand on the world of their previous work, while capitalizing on the charm; Just Crow Things seemingly appears to appeal to fans looking to customize  and interact with its world. Sony fans will have another potentially great indie to look forward to in March.
