IGN Fan Fest 2021 Exclusive Gameplay of Deathloop, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, and Boundary

This year’s IGN Fan Fest offered some awesome news and updates for shows, games, comics, and more. For video games, fans were able to tune in on exclusive panels discussing video game news as well as exclusive trailers. A few of the games featured are planned to be released later this year.

Deathloop is an upcoming action-adventure developed by Arkane Studios where you will play as an assassin stuck on an island where time is the enemy. Stuck in never-ending loop, you will have to kill enemies, collect intel, and more in order to escape. There is even a multiplayer mode, so you and a friend can play together. During IGN Fan Fest, the game’s director Dinga Bakaba discussed cool features of the game including supernatural abilities in an exclusive video. Originally announced in Sony’s State of Play last year, Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a multiplayer heist game being developed by Sumo Digital. Set in medieval England, you and your teammates will play as outlaw characters based on the infamous Robin Hood to become a legendary hero. You will race against a rival team to find the key to the treasure, steal the treasure, and plan your escape to help an oppressed kingdom. Andrew Willan, the director of Hood: Outlaws & Legends, gave the first-time preview for Ranger character whose skillset includes stealth and long-range weapons such as a bow and arrows. While there was not any more footage of the characters, this special IGN Fan Fest preview gave players insight into the mechanics of the game and how players will work together to get the treasure. It will be released May 10 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.

Finally, Boundary an outer space first-person shooter developed by Surgical Scalpels showed exclusive multiplayer gameplay footage showing off the zero-gravity movement and weapon mechanics. Each player will play as an astroperator with their own skill sets and customizable loadouts and fight in team firefight.
