Iggymob Shows Off the Cinematic Trailer for Gungrave Gore

A cinematic trailer for the next bloody Gungrave game has been teased by Iggymob from seemingly out of nowhere. The spiritual prologue to the next title in the franchise had recently been released last year with Gungrave VR on the PlayStation 4. While the trailer does not reveal much about the storyline of the upcoming third-person shooter, it is full of suspense that will bring fans of the series back to what is being named Gungrave Gore.

Gungrave is a dark and mysterious series of games that began with a man named Brandon Heat. Years after he was murdered and betrayed by his longtime friend, Harry MacDowell, he was reincarnated as the entity, Beyond the Grave. The goal for the players is to take down different crime syndicates throughout the games as Beyond the Grave in a fit of rage and revenge. The reborn man is a very silent person that carries out his will against organizations, including the one he had been a member of. Previous Gungrave games have been exclusive to PlayStation consoles and it appears that Gungrave Gore will be continuing that trend. Check out the clip here:

The trailer shows off a veiny character, Bunji Kugashira, hesitantly approaching a sitting wraith, Beyond the Grave, with a gun in hand. These are just two of the characters that Iggymob has revealed to the public in the upcoming story. Another individual that was revealed by the developer at the Tokyo Game Show 2018 was a young, blue, crystalized girl named Mika Asagi. The daughter of sorts for Beyond the Grave has appeared in previous games.

The cinematic trailer, which was released this week, doesn’t reveal much about what Beyond the Grave will be up against in Gore. However, the developers did outline some of the mechanics of the game at the Tokyo Game Show 2018 and that a crime organization will show up that is called the Raven Clan, who has high tensions with Beyond the Grave’s own group. Gungrave Gore is expected to launch in December of 2019 for the PlayStation 4.
