The For Honor and Assassins Creed Crossover is an Entire Event Called “For the Creed”

With new challenges, comes new challengers. Back on December 19, the For Honor twitter had released a single tweet that showed off the logos for each faction in their game: Samurai, Knight, Viking, and Wu-Lin. At the last flash, it showed the Abstergo symbol, from Ubisoft’s other game Assassin’s Creed:

In a fit and onslaught of tweets and confusion, fans began to speculate what the crossover would bring. The tweet had only stated that all would be answered the following day during their Warrior Live-Stream event. And answer, they did.

The For Honor and Assassin’s Creed crossover brings more than just introducing one of the assassins, it’s an entire event surrounding it. Players can take part in this “For the Creed” event that hosts Assassin’s Creed characters and Animus secrets. But it looks like all the speculations of what is being added have almost all come true.

The main part of the event comes from a new game mode called “Assassini e Templari”, a 4v4 Dominion type mode. Teams with have to capture zones to lure out one of two of the named characters from the AC franchise who are taking roles as commanders: Ezio Auditore da Firenze or Cesare Borgia. Taking down one of these commanders rewards the team with 300 points. Reaching 1000 point and defeating the opposing team ends the game.

The Assassini e Templari mode also features a set of rotating maps that have been decorated to fit the event’s theme. Inside these maps, players can spot Animus glitches, and all the soldiers around the areas will be designed after the factions in the AC franchise. Not only that, but any type of air assassinations will appear as the Leap of Faith and host the same animations from AC. Game modes will have an Animus theme, and some will even be narrated by Phil Proctor, the voice actor for Warren Vidic.

But the event isn’t quite done yet with what’s in store for players. It wouldn’t be an event without some customization. Playing these modes will allow players to earn some new items and emotes. One of the items that can be obtained is the Odyssey of the Misthios mask, a Haystack emote, a Hidden Blade execution, animus effects and battle outfits, Assassin and Templar skins, and weapons from the AC franchise. Or, if you want something for a your favourite hero immediately, there is also a For the Creed Bundle that is available for 35,000 Steel per hero.

For Honor’s “For the Creed” event is live now from December 20 through January 10.
