However, Game Pass games will not be featured here as they are already featured in the Game Pass hub.

The second channel is based on themes. With some weird categories such as “Games to play with your cat” or “Games that need a laugh track.” The team at ID@Xbox are working hard to create an ever rotating channel of different themes. Players can also suggest themes to the team at ID@Xbox through their social channels

There will be other channels showcasing games from around the world. They will include different creators, games available for pre-order, and ID@Xbox sale themes. This will allow an all encompassing creation of a hub for Indie Games on Xbox.

The final channel created is called “Indie Selects.” The team at ID@Xbox will select six games to games to feature at the end of each month. The team at ID@Xbox will vote to decide what games they think are player’s favorites. This has been a highly requested feature from the indie creators. Those selected each month will also be featured on social media in a highlight reel.

The post ends with saying that “So why are we doing this? The short answer: we love games made by independent developers, and we want more people to discover them, buy them, and play them!” This feature is sure to bring some new indie games to the spotlight and also showcase some old favorites.
