Humble Bundle’s ‘Stand with Ukraine’ bundle has raised $20.7 million in support of humanitarian relief efforts. 473,917 bundles were sold over the course of seven days from March 18th to the 25th. The bundle featured more than 120 items totaling over $2,500 worth of value in games, books, and software. 100% of the proceeds have gone straight to the charity partners Razom for Ukraine, International Rescue Committee (IRC), International Medical Corps, and Direct Relief.
The crew over at Humble Bundle shared their gratitude for the bundle’s success and acknowledged everyone’s efforts on their blog. The team humbly spoke to, “the people around the world who purchased a bundle; those who helped spread the word on social media and among their family and friends; and all of the publishers and developers who donated games, books, and software to the bundle,” and said “we’re grateful to everyone who came together and contributed to this critical cause.”
Humble Bundle went on to say that despite this ‘Stand with Ukraine’ bundle being over, “we’re actively working with our partners on additional opportunities to support Ukraine relief efforts during this ongoing crisis.” The charities that Humble partnered in this effort also shared some words in the blog post.
President of Razom for Ukraine Dora Chomiak expressed how “deeply grateful [we are] to the amazing Humble Bundle community and all the supporters who have contributed to the Stand With Ukraine bundle! The $5 million raised by Humble Bundle for Razom is the largest single donation we’ve ever received. Your support will save lives through much-needed funds that will go toward critical medical aid and equipment and will be delivered to the most suffered cities and towns of Ukraine through the fastest routes possible. We are extremely thankful for your generosity and open hearts for Ukrainians during this horrifying time.”
Vice President of International Philanthropy and Partnerships Ourania Dionysiou stated that, “With almost 4 million refugees already displaced by the crisis in Ukraine, the IRC is immensely grateful for the timely and much-needed support from Humble Bundle and their customers. Funds raised from the “Stand With Ukraine” bundle will help the IRC’s efforts to provide lifesaving support and emergency aid for people and families that have been uprooted from their homes in Ukraine due to the conflict.”
