Nintendo Switch and 3DS owners have a new option when it comes to obtaining their games. The Humble Bundle store, an online video game retailer known for donating a portion of most purchases to charities, is now selling codes for digital versions of Nintendo Switch and 3DS games on their store.
The Humble Bundle store’s lineup of Nintendo Switch games features a mix of newer titles and bestsellers. Titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Mario Party, Mario Tennis Aces, and Pokémon Let’s Go! rub shoulders with favorites like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You can also pick up expansion passes and Nintendo Online memberships on Humble Bundle. On the 3DS, players can pick up bestsellers like Pokémon Ultra Sun/Moon and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D as well as retro titles like Pokémon Red/Blue and The Legend of Zelda.
There are a couple of caveats for purchasing these games. All Nintendo-based purchases from the Humble Bundle store are for US customers only. In addition, the purchases are at full price and Humble Monthly subscribers don’t get the 10% discount they’d normally get for most games. Finally, it appears that Nintendo products sold through the Humble Bundle store don’t count for charity contributions of Humble Rewards.
Nintendo and Humble Bundle have teamed up in the past for Humble Bundles focused on indie games. In 2015, they released their first bundle focused on Wii U and 3DS games like Guacamelee and SteamWorld Dig. They also made second bundle in 2016. Nowadays, Humble Bundle is known for its monthly bundle subscription, where subscribers can save 10% off most games, get exclusive deals, and can download 60+ free DRM-free games from the Humble Trove. The money gained from the monthly subscriptions goes to a different charity each month.
