Humanity Has Now Reached 1 Million Players Since Launching This Past May

One of the most intriguing titles of 2023 has already reached a major milestone. Developer Enhance has announced on their X page that Humanity has now surpassed 1 million players worldwide across several different platforms. In addition, they were able to achieve this in less than three months, as the title officially launched back in May 16, 2023, making it one of the fastest-growing puzzle platformers of the year. Guess that’s what happens when you make the main playable character a god-like Shiba Inu.

For those who aren’t aware, Humanity is an action puzzle platformer where you control the aforementioned Shiba Inu that controls a large amount of humans in crowds. From there you move them in lines and groups to complete a puzzle with an objective, moving you onto the next area. This includes having them jump from one platform to another, and seeing hordes of people moving in unison from a fairly large height to a lower area is in an of itself quite the sight.

Players can also create level and upload them online for other users to try out. This also works vice versa, as you’re able to download other created stages for your humans to jump/run around in. On top of that, there’s also a story mode that consists of 90 main levels, ensuring that you’ll never run out of things to do with your God-like dog. Humanity is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam. You can also try out a free demo from the Steam page, which can be viewed here. Those who have a PlayStation Plus subscription with the Extra tier can play the full game at no extra cost.
