Hubert, an upcoming dog game developed and published by Brocap Studio s.r.o. Is coming to PS5. The unreleased game was slated to be on Steam, but with the new announcement trailer this morning, the developers shared that Hubert will be available on PS5 as well.
The PS5 Announcement trailer shows Hubert yawning, it seems the game might be mostly third person pov, as the trailer shows changes in viewpoint while looking to and around Hubert’s face. After such, he runs to a ledge on a high spot of the mountain he’s currently on, to look. Hubert runs down, the game view moving from front facing to back centered as he runs to “Herd sheep.” He corrals and leads the herd to combine with “the rest” of the sheep by moving the sheep to a grassy plain. Hubert also has normal dog characteristics like peeing on trees, pooping on the grass, barking and howling in the dark.
With lots of missions, Hubert has a lot to do, he seemingly was transported to this area, by a blond haired woman who seems to be his owner as she commands him to do various tasks in the trailer. Another gameplay tease the trailer showcased was a black and white mode, where Hubert moves alongside two glowing lines in the air, that seem to lead to places Hubert should check when he’s ordered to “Search.” In one instance, the lines circle a bunch of missing sheep that Hubert went after, and of course, he was rewarded with pets for a job well done. Hubert and his person then spend some time outside, as she speculates how their “farm adventure” will turn out. The trailer shows the end page, before a cliffhanger, showing Hubert exploring the woods alone searching for a “scent,” while a wolf howls. Hubert doesn’t currently have a planned release date but with this newest PS5 announcement, the announcement might come soon.
