Today, the ESA has revealed how people can experience this year’s E3 which will be virtual for the first time ever. E3 2021 will feature an E3 live broadcast with interactive overlays powered by Hovercast which will be interactive across platforms, including viewer polls, featured tweets, and more. The broadcast will be hosted by Jacki Jing, Greg Miller, and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez and feature major publisher showcases, press conferences, industry panels, extended livestreams, and special guest appearances. People can experience E3 2021 through the online portal and app which will be a key hub for the duration of the show.

The online portal will be the destination for all things E3, beginning with a media access week that starts on Monday, June 7. An online calendar tool will allow for scheduling appointments Public access will be available on Saturday, June 12, the first day of the E3 broadcast. Registration for access to the online E3 portal will be free and begin later this month. The public version of the online portal gives access to Exhibitor booths featuring special events, VOD content, and articles. Exhibitor booths act as hubs within the portal for key announcements and game information tied to each exhibitor; Lounges are online gathering spots for all E3 attendees. Forums are special boards for focused online discussion and sharing among attendees; Leaderboards are gamified show elements that can be collected and displayed, encouraging fans to interact in as many ways as possible; Plus, all attendees can create their own unique profiles within the portal and app, which can be customized.

Outside of the online portal and app, you can watch E3 2021 on the official E3 Twitch channel, E3 YouTube channel, E3 Twitter page, and E3 Facebook page. E3 2021 takes place next month from June 12 – June 15.
