HITMAN Developer Opens New Studio In The UK

Danish indie developer IO Interactive has announced the opening of a new studio in Brighton, United Kingdom located in the southwest of England. The announcement described Brighton as one of the UK’s “cultural and artistic hubs,” well-known for its architecture, landmarks, food, and nightlife, making it a great relocation choice within the UK.

Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive, gave a statement expressing his excitement at the opening of the new studio and the opportunities it would give for creatives in the UK area.

“We are extremely proud and excited to open our next studio in Brighton, where we see enormous potential to expand our incredible team and attract the very best talent from the exciting UK development scene,” said Abrak. “We’re eager to expand our operations to new shores and believe that IOI Brighton is an extremely appealing destination for developers of all crafts.”

IOI Brighton will be joining IO Interactive’s four other studios in Copenhagen, Malmö, Barcelona, and Istanbul as they contribute to the development of Project 007, an upcoming game exploring James Bond’s origin story. Additionally, all five studios are contributing to IO Interactive’s other projects including Project Fantasy and a new HITMAN game.

More information about IO Interactive’s new studio will be shared in the future. For future updates head over to IO Interactive’s official website.
