High on Life from the Creator of Rick & Morty Shown Off at Xbox & Bethesda Showcase

Today at the Xbox/Bethesda 2022 showcase Squanch Games showed off a reveal trailer for High on Life, the latest game from Rick & Morty series co-creator Justin Roiland. The game will be out in October later this year on Xbox series X/S and PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass as a day one exclusive.

The colorful FPS takes place in a far-off future where humans are illegally sold and used as drugs by aliens, and the player is tasked with taking down the entire trade operation. Armed with a number of talking, gun-shaped “gatliens” (including a blue grub voiced by Roiland himself and a knife named “Knifey”) the player will have to take down a variety of weird-looking members of the alien mafia to save their species.
