Fans of Death Stranding may be excited to hear that Hideo Kojima revealed a picture of his newest project. Just yesterday, he posted a picture on Twitter and in the picture was his Macbook, a Rotten Tomatoes paperweight, a rubber duck, a mold of Norman Reedus’s face, and many other objects with the caption “Working on the next concept while no one is in the office.” While no new information has been released on what his newest project is, based on what Hideo Kojima has stated and posted previously it is possible that he is working on either a new horror video game or a sequel to Death Stranding.

Back in late November, Hideo Kojima stated that he has thought about creating a Death Stranding sequel and that if he were to do so, he would “start from zero,” meaning that the sequel would not necessarily feature the same characters or continue the storyline of the original. It is also possible that his latest project could be a horror video game due to his post on Twitter back on November 22nd. The post featured the horror film The Eye with the caption: “As to make the scariest horror game, I’ll watch the scary movies in order to awaken my horror soul.” He explained in the caption that this was the movie he watched in order to prepare for developing PT. The last possibility is that Kojima could be working on a new project entirely that has nothing to do with either horror video games or Death Stranding. While his most recent Tweet doesn’t reveal much of anything at the moment, it is likely that more information will be revealed at a later date.
